Jay Kelly brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing expertise to his leadership role at Converge Consulting. He is a multi-channel marketing executive with experience building brands such as Lincoln, Nissan, Infiniti, The New York Times, eLearners.com and GradSchools.com. He has served in leadership roles on Madison Avenue for Young & Rubicam, TBWA/Chiat Day and Undertone. He also served as Sales Director for The New York Times where he was responsible for advertising in the newspaper, Sunday Magazine and web site.
Jay’s professional focus then shifted to higher education, where he currently puts his interactive and multi-channel marketing skills to work. As the Sales Leader for GradSchools.com, Jay orchestrated two of the most successful years in the company’s history in terms of sales and business development. Before coming to Converge, Jay was Vice President of Strategic Accounts at EducationDynamics, where he developed and fostered relationships with Liberty University, Northwestern, Columbia University, New York University, and a host of other notable institutions.
Jay is also the author of blog posts related to marketing communications, digital strategies, inbound marketing and analytics that drive smart marketing decisions. He also is a frequent presenter at conferences including AMA, CASE and NAGAP. A proud member of the American Marketing Association, Jay obtained his undergraduate degree from Rowan University as well as a certificate in Change Management from Cornell University.
