Dr. Deborah Snyder has a long history of higher education experience and was a pioneer in the adoption of online platforms in learning. She has taught business and communication for the past 25 years, 15 of those years online. Deb wrote The New Traditionals, and e-Marketing Basics and has been published in two encyclopedias of instructional technology and distributed learning. She has consulted with colleges and universities across the country in the areas of branding and integrated communication strategies and has conducted several academic program marketability audits in higher education.
Deb has served in both traditional non-profit and adult-focused for-profit institutions. She held senior administrative and academic positions at Strayer University, Capella University, University of Michigan at Flint, Michigan Virtual University and Walsh College. Snyder holds a PhD in Organizational Communication, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, all from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
